この度Feb gallery Tokyoでは、Ed TSUWAKIのペインティングの新作による「UNKNOWN RACES」を開催します。彼の描く”女性の肖像”はその時代のモードを纏いながら独自の発展をしてきました。「未知の種族たち」と名付け、その肢体とは異様に不釣り合いに見える頭部を持った女性(らしき者たち)を描き始めたEd TSUWAKI。「新しい美の姿」と彼は言います。新たなチャプターに入ったEd TSUWAKIの描く”肖像”をぜひご高覧ください。Feb gallery Tokyo is pleased to present “UNKNOWN RACES”, a series of new paintings by Ed TSUWAKI. His portraits of women have developed in their own unique way along with the alternative fashions. This time, he has depicted individual portraits with graceful (women-like) bodies and enigmatic peculiar heads, called them “unknown races” which suggests Ed TSUWAKI’s “new form of beauty”. Please enjoy these portraits painted by Ed TSUWAKI, who has entered a new chapter in his work.

この度、Feb gallery Tokyoは「non-syntax Experimental Image Festival 2023」の会場となり、写真家 / 映像作家の立川清志楼による映像インスタレーション作品「生産報告命令」を展示いたします。また、会場別室ではnon-syntax Experimental Image Festival公募作品群から選出された映像作品を展示いたします。Feb gallery Tokyo is pleased to present “Seisan Houkoku Meirei” (Production Report Order), a video installation by photographer/video artist Kiyoshiro Tatekawa as a part of non-syntax Experimental Image Festival 2023 SISA.In addition, non-syntax official selection from public entries will also be exhibited at the venue.

Feb gallery Tokyoでは、5人絵画展「デジャヴ・サバーブ　歩道の段差に気をつけろ」 を開催いたします。ここではないどこかを切り取り、映窓となる絵画を見つめていると、以前どこかで遭遇した光景、それに連なる温度や匂い、声、質感、そこにいた自分自身を懐かしく想うことがあります。そうしている間に、少し遠くまで来ていて、ここにある身体を忘れてしまうような、そんなひとときの旅を会場でお楽しみください。Feb gallery Tokyo is pleased to present a five-painter exhibition, "Déjà Vu Suburb: Beware of Sidewalk Steps". Gazing at the paintings, which cut out and reflect someplace other than here, we sometimes fondly recall scenes we have encountered somewhere before. Then we'd recall the temperature, smells, voices, and textures, and ourselves who used to be there. While doing so, you may feel as if you have come farther away when your body remains right here. Please enjoy such a momentary journey at the venue.

この度、Feb gallery Tokyoでは、アーティスト黒坂祐(Yu Kurosaka)による個展「１５万年」を開催いたします。黒坂の住んでいる地域の地形は１５万年前からほとんど変わっていないのだそうです。「１５万年」前、私たちはもっと世界を”フラット”に認識していたのではないでしょうか。そのように、すべてのモノを等価的に扱い、均質化して見るモノの見方を黒坂は「眺め」と呼びます... Feb gallery Tokyo is pleased to present "150,000 Years," a solo exhibition by artist Yu Kurosaka.The topography of the area where Kurosaka lives has hardly changed since 150,000 years ago. At that time, 150,000 years ago, We may have perceived the world more flatly. Kurosaka defines such a state in which all things are almost homogenous as a "view". In this exhibition, Kurosaka attempts to include and depict that tremendous amount of time, 150,000 years in order to reach the ideal "view"...
