概要synopsis：
この度Feb gallery Tokyoでは、嶺脇ルイの川柳を発想の起点とした作品の数々を展示する『INVISIBLE THREAD - Tomorrow is Another day （明日は明日の風がふく）』を開催いたします。
嶺脇ルイは、日々の景色の中で移り変わるものたち、人の営み、自身の想いから丁寧に言葉を紡ぎ、50年にわたり川柳を発表し続けています。「INVISIBLE THREAD」では、嶺脇ルイが書き下ろした川柳からあらゆる着想を得た作家が、各々の表現に変換し、川柳と一緒に発表します。
いしかわまり、 嶺脇美貴子、横内さゆみ、３名の現代ジュエリー作家のグループ展としてスタートした「INVISIBLE THREAD」はこれまでミュンヘンやニューヨークなど世界各地で開催され、５回目となる今回は初の日本、東京で開催いたします。
本展では新たに、唐紙作家の菅原文葉、 映像作家の藤井アンナ、絵画作家のruteN、YUKEYが参加し、新作に加えて、これまでのアーカイブ川柳・ジュエリー作品とともに展示・販売いたします。
今回のテーマ川柳は「竹トンボ 風は明日を 連れてくる」。五・七・五という制限の中で豊かなイメージを想起させる、川柳というミニマルな文学表現を媒介にして、紡がれた言葉をほどきあうように、 それぞれの表現がダイナミックに交差します。
Feb gallery Tokyo is pleased to present "INVISIBLE THREAD - Tomorrow is Another Day", a group exhibition of works inspired by Rui Minewaki's Senryu poetry.
INVISIBLE THREAD started as a contemporary jewelry exhibition of three artists, Mari Ishikawa, Mikiko Minewaki, and Sayumi Yokouchi, and has presented around the world, including Munich and New York. This is their fifth but first time in Tokyo Japan.
In addition to jewelry artists, this exhibition features painters, ruteN and YUKEY, video artist, Anna Fujii, and Karakami printmaking artist, Fumiha Sugawara. There are brand new works by those artists as well as archived poetries and jewelry.
The keywords for this time’s poetry are bamboo-copter / wind / guide / tomorrow. Senryu evokes rich images within the five-seven-five syllabary. Through this minimalist literary medium, various expressions intertwine and thread around together. *All the artworks are available for purchase.

川柳は、ルイ氏の生涯の情熱を持って取り組んでいることである。また押絵、切り絵、洋服作り、クラフトフラワー、山菜摂り、ピンポンゲームなど、精力的に活動している。また、読書家でもあり、本から得たインスピレーションを元に制作している。
Senryu poetry is a lifelong passion of Rui Minewaki. She is also engaged in various activities such as raised cloth picture, cutout picture, clothes-making, craft flowers, gathering wild vegetable and ping-pong. She is also a great reader and often gets her inspiration from books.

京都生まれ。 ミュンヘン在住のコンテンポラリージュエリー作家。神戸芸術工科大学の客員教授。2001年ミュンヘン芸術大学 卒業後、ヨーロッパ．アメリカ．アジアの20か国以上で個展を開催。作品は、NYのMAD美術館、ロンドンのV&A美術館をはじめ様々な美術館やアート財団に収録されている。パラレルワールドをテーマに、日常の中の一瞬をモチーフにしたジュエリーを制作。 『見ようとしなければ何も見えない。見ようと意識したところから発見が始まる』。 その作品には、見逃してしまっているたくさんのことに気づいて欲しいという願いがこめられている。 自身で撮影した写真とジュエリーとのコラボレーション作品も多く制作。
Born in Kyoto, Japan. Lives and works in Munich, Germany. Contemporary Jewelry Artist. Visiting Professor by Kobe design Unibersity. With the theme of parallel world, she creates jewelry with motifs from various moments in daily life. “If you don't try to see, you can't see anything. Discovery begins when you consciously try to see.” Ishikawa’s work is filled with her wish that as a reminder, we will notice many things that we may have missed. She also collaborates with her own photographs with jewelry in many of her work.

日常よく目にするものや、誰もがよく知っているもの（ライター、パソコン、ペン、プラモデル、ぬいぐるみ、スマホ・・・）がジュエリーに大変身！ヒコ・みづのジュエリーカレッジにてジュエリーデザイン、貴金属の加工を学んだ後、1991 年より同校講師として勤務。。よく見ているし、よく知っているし、よく触っているものが、その用途を捨ててジュエリーになる驚きを学生たちと一緒に楽しんでいます。
I make jewelry by cutting what I often see and everyone knows well(lighter,computer,pen,plastic models,table,stuffed toy,smart phone,etc........) After studying jewelry design and precious metal processing at Hiko Mizuno Jewelry College, I have been teaching at this school since 1991.I enjoy together with the students the strange sensations of the well-known things transform into jewelry by throwing away their intended purpose.

東京出身 1990年渡米 ニューヨーク州立大学New Paltz校 Metal Arts 美術学修士号終了後、ニューヨークを拠点にcraft、jewelry, designの分野で経験を積み、自身の作品の発表やさまざまなクリエイターとのコラボレーション、カスタムジュエリーデザインなど幅広く展開。 作家活動の傍ら教育の場でも活動を広げる 現在は武蔵野美術大学工業工芸デザイン学科にて非常勤講師を務める。2018年ごろから東京に拠点を移して国内での活動始まる 。

Born in Tokyo Yokouchi is a studio artist and educator. She received MFA in Metal Arts from State University of New York in New Paltz in 1999. Many years of experiences in the field of craft, jewelry and design, including showcasing her own work and collaborating with other designers, as well as custom jewelry design business, also teaching. She was an adjunct faculty member at New York University, currently living and maintaining her studio in Tokyo, teaching as an adjunct lecturer at Musashino Art University's Department of Industrial Arts and Crafts Design. 老舗唐紙工房で修業の後、独立。2013年に京都に工房を構える。紙のみでなく、布や木に文様をうつす作品を制作。
After trained at a long-established Karakami studio, she established her own studio in Kyoto in 2013. She produces works in which the patterns are not only on paper, but also on untraditional materials such as cloths and woods.

東京を拠点に活動するドキュメンタリー風エクスペリメンタルフィルムメイカー。日常的に録る映像や音、写真等の素材を使用し、純粋な映像実験をプレゼンテーションすると同時に、しんしんと感情を積む仕掛けを施す。国内外の映画祭で上映活動をしながら、近年は身体の動きを直接画に反映させた記録映像を元に実験的に制作している。
Documentary-style experimental filmmaker based in Tokyo. Using materials from her daily collection of images, sounds and photographs, she presents pure visual experiments, while at the same time creating mechanisms of evoking one's humanity. In recent years, she has been making experimental films based on recorded footage that directly reflects the physical movements onto the images.

2020年よりアーティスト活動をスタート。 生命の循環やエネルギーを可視化した作品、"流転している世界”をテーマに作品を制作している。 また、2023年に一葉式いけ花、教授免状を取得。 華道や自身の生まれ持った感性を生かし、植物や季節、自然との向き合い、花を生ける時の感覚を作品制作時に反映させ日記のように描き続けている。 10メートルを超える壁画制作、やアパレルブランドとのコラボレーション、パッケージデザインなど幅広く活動している。 アーティスト名 ruteN(ルテン）は、"生生流転= すべての物は絶えず生まれては変化し、移り変わっていくこと。"から名付けられている。
ruteN started her career as an artist in 2020. She visualizes the cycles of life and energy, and creates works based on the theme of "the world in flux. In 2023, she received a teaching license for the Ichiyo style of Ikebana. Applying flower arrangement techniques and her innate sensitivity, she continues to draw/paint as if she were keeping a diary, reflecting her feelings towards plants, seasons, nature of the world. She has also been involved in a wide range of other activities, such as creating murals over 10 meters in length, collaborating with apparel brands, and designing packaging.The artist's name "ruteN" is derived from "constant flux = all things are constantly born, changing, and transitioning.

1995年三重県生まれ。 水彩絵の具を塗って剥がすことを繰り返す独自の技法で絵画を制作する。2022年、初の個展「I am a first class noob.」を皮切りに展示活動を開始。 神秘学等の写本の挿絵やカリグラフィ、様々な要素をサンプリングし、ヘタな模倣とアイロニカルな視点により、意図せずモチーフを「没落」させる。 それは彼女にとって贅沢な趣味のひとつであり、影響を受けているモノへの敬意を示す。
Born 1995 in Mie Prefecture. She self-taught watercolors and invented her unique painting style where she repeatedly applies paints then peels them off. Sampling elements referenced from a variety of sources, such as illustrations from mysticism manuscripts. etc. She unintentionally "ruin" the motifs through bad imitation and ironic perspectives. It is one of her luxurious hobbies and presents much respect for those things that have had an impact on her.
